DIY Spooky Soup Cauldron Coloring Set

Stir up some spooky fun with this DIY Cauldron Coloring Set! Kids can color or paint the cauldron and potion ingredients, including an eyeball, spider, bone, mushroom, frog, and ghost pepper. The slime-shaped handle lifts the clear window, making it easy to add, mix, and shake up creative, imaginative Halloween potions.

Instructions

1. Color the cauldron top piece.
   After cutting, color or paint the cauldron’s top potion piece, if desired. It is usually easier to decorate this piece before gluing the layers together.

2. Build the cauldron frame.
   Glue or adhere the first thicker frame piece on top of the cauldron base, making sure the edges and handles are aligned correctly. Then attach the additional thicker frame layer or layers. You may cut more or fewer frame layers depending on your material thickness and how much space you would like inside the cauldron.

3. Add the clear-window insert layer.
   Once the thicker frame layers are dry, glue or adhere the thinner frame layer on top. This layer creates the inset area where the clear acrylic window will sit.

4. Attach the slime handle to the acrylic window.
   Glue or adhere the slime-shaped handle piece to the clear acrylic window, using the score line as a placement guide. The slime piece acts as a handle, making it easier to lift the clear window and add or mix the potion ingredients inside.

5. Color the potion ingredients and accessories.
   Color or paint the removable pieces, such as the eyeball, spider, bone, ghost pepper, mushroom, frog, potion ladle, and any additional ingredients, using paint markers, acrylic paint, or your preferred coloring supplies.

6. Fill the cauldron.
   Place the finished potion ingredients inside the cauldron, then set the clear acrylic window into the inset frame. Use the slime-shaped handle to lift the window, add new ingredients, and mix creative, imaginative Halloween potions.
